I almost forgot some exciting news. Herriman High will have a marching band for parades this summer and we will be marching in the Herriman City parade on June 26th as well as a couple others. I will keep you posted on developments with the parade band and when you will be able to sign up. We want to make a great debut, so make sure you are there! There will be a need for wind and percussion players, as well as drum majors and color guard. If you play a string instrument and would like to get involved there are plenty of opportunities for you as well.

- I love music! It has been a central part of my life since I played my first note on a trumpet in seventh grade. Since then I have played in many different bands and orchestras at Bingham High and Riverton High, as well as the University of Utah. I was a member of the Olympic Spirit Band in 2002 and I am currently a member of the 23rd Army Band, playing both the euphonium and tuba. I am constantly pushing myself and those around me to be better musicians and better people. I have great expectations for the music program at Herriman High and I can't wait until we get to start making music together!
