My name is Mr. Shawn Mangum and I am the director of the bands and orchestras at the new Herriman High. I am very excited for a wonderful beginning with you. Great Job!

Congratulations to the students in the parade band! You guys put on a great performance today! I had a wonderful time! You guys did an awesome job today and I am very proud of how far you have come in a matter of only two weeks! Awesome, awesome, awesome!

A big huge thanks to all the band parents and siblings that came out to help with water! It was such a big help having all of you there, I really can't thank you enough.

I'll see you all on Monday! Make sure you are there bright and early and ready to work hard. We will be passing off God Bless America so we can have a bit of variety for next weeks parades.
